ABC Great Rivers Region Mission Update from Murrow

Wednesday, April 9:

As most of you know by now that Joan's daughter's service is April 11th at 11:00 A.M. at the Bcone Chapel.

They have selected for Memoral Donations, the Educational Fund at Murrow Indian Children's Home.

All donations and cards can be sent to Murrow Indian Children's Home. The address is:

Wednesday, April 9:

I just talked to Joan Brown, here is the latest; Paula died Sunday.

Joan wants us to remember Paula's husband Richard and their two sons Arron & Alex, in our prayers. They also have three grandchildren.

We need to remember Joan's family in our prayers. Any more information I receive from Joan I will pass on to every one.

Just received and E-Mail through AB Women's Ministries here is the text.

From Vickie Goff, PA: " I just received a telephone call asking that we pray for Joan Brown's daughter, Paula Parrish. (Joan Brown is the Director of the Murrow Indian Children's Home in Muskogee, OK.) Paula was badly burned from a kitchen fire and is in hillcrest Hospital in Tulsa, Ok. Your prayers are deeply appreciated."

Greetings in the name of our Lord,

Talked to Joan Brown Yesterday and they are waiting the final inspection from the Fire Marshall before they can open the refurbished cottage for children. She said that the Fire Marshall said she would be back in 20 days. So Joan is still waiting in this slow process of inspections. Ever thing else is ready. Joan is ready to bring in children when she gets the final OK.

I also want to remind you that Joan Brown will be at our Regional Mission Conference on April 25th & 26th at Cherry Hills BC, Springfield. Please sign-up for the Mission Conference, come and meet Joan Brown Director of Murrow Indian children's Home.

We will be collecting at that time for Joan to take back with her the following items: Gift Cards from Wal-mart, paper plates, Paper cups, paper towels, napkins, toilet paper and copy paper.
